It’s… fairly simple. It took longer to render the scan than to make the actual wallpaper. XD; I like it anyway. >_>

Well, we’re close to yet another anime season starting and I’ve finally decided to get my hands dirty with Shiki. It’s more of a mystery/suspense type show but I actually like more than I expected. Buck-Tick does the opening theme and that serves as a major plus. The character designs are a little on the weird side but I think they’re cool looking at the same time. I’ll probably end up doing a marathon it to the end tomorrow or Monday.

Yeah, I’ll always be a Naruto junkie until I die. I think the kid shots are from the manga. I haven’t been keeping up with it due to other things but still. Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is right around the corner and you add Smackdown the week after that.. Phew..my sleep count is going to go down dramatically at the end of this month.

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin has finally come to an end. I actually started this anime way back in April, watching it on a small hunch that it would be decent at best. Little did I know, it would actually turn out to be one of my top five animes of 2010. Hell, it’s one of my top ten animes of all time, really. It doesn’t follow the traditional mold that I usually take with my shows. You know, blood, tits, alcohol, the works. Sure, the show does have a lot of action but it’s actually driven by the plot and not violence. It actually takes on a few controversial subjects, as well. I’ll probably end up giving this show another rundown or two before the year is over with because I enjoyed it that much. Hopefully more people hop on the train later on because I feel like it’s one that shouldn’t be missed out on. I usually have roleplays based off of some of the animes that I watch but I highly doubt it’ll happen with Rainbow since it will be a man hunt to find someone else that enjoys the show like I do. It’s fitting that the show ended on my birthday, too. Kudos, Masasumi Kakizaki. You’ve created something special.

Last night WEC held another event on Versus and I’ve got to say that I was highly impressed by the turn out. 24 year old fighter Jose Aldo managed to put on yet another great performance, stopping former TUF finalist Manny Gamburyan via TKO in the second round. I can definitely see shades of Anderson Silva in the kid. Hopefully he’ll make his way into the UFC at 155. I really don’t see him falling off anytime soon.

While I’ve certainly missed the Dissidia hype train for the first game, I’m actually thrilled over the release of news of Tifa making the cut for the first game. I’m not really a handheld gamer but for the sake of using Tifa in a fighting game post- Ehrgeiz, I might have to borrow one just to give it a whirl. I know Lightning has been announced and that I had a crush on her while playing FF XIII, it doesn’t bring much excitement on that front. Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy should be a fairly decent game nonetheless.
